On the artificial island of Odaiba in Tokyo Bay is Japan's National Museum of Future Research and Innovation, or Museum of the Future (Miraikan) for short To highlight future-oriented findings from various areas.

Other future-oriented technologies from robotics and automotive development are also shown here, as well as information and exhibits on the subject of space travel. The museum also has a restaurant, a souvenir shop and free wifi. Information and audio guides are available in English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. Groups of 8 people or more receive a discount, but must be registered in advance.
