Dragon Quest fans in Japan will soon have another reason to celebrate the legendary RPG series, with Gelato Pique Cafe teaming up with Dragon Quest for its first-ever collaboration. Launching as part of the franchise's 40th anniversary celebrations, the limited-time event transforms a café visit into an adventure inspired by the game's iconic monsters and memorable locations.

Running from August 7th to August 20th, the collaboration introduces a menu themed around Zenithia (the Sky Castle), complete with fluffy cloud-like desserts and plenty of Slime-inspired treats. Fans can choose from two varieties of the Slime Fluffy Sky Crepe, available in lychee and berry flavors, each topped with an adorable chocolate Slime resting on a cloud of rare cheesecake mousse. Inside, refreshing gelato and seasonal fruit create a dessert that's as photogenic as it is summery.

The themed menu also includes colorful Sky Soda Floats, tropical Zenithia Fluffy Sundaes, and exclusive items at select locations. For instance, visitors to the Shibuya Hikarie store can cool off with Zenithia-inspired shaved ice, while the Omotesando Hills location will offer character art lattes featuring familiar faces.

The experience extends beyond the food. Shibuya Hikarie and Omotesando Hills will feature special Dragon Quest decorations and artwork, creating an immersive setting filled with the series' lovable monsters. Every collaboration menu purchase also comes with a random limited-edition sticker while supplies last, giving fans another collectible to take home.

Collectors won't want to miss the exclusive collaboration merchandise either, with hand towels, tote bags, tumblers and character charms available at participating stores. With themed food, exclusive goods and plenty of nostalgic touches, this collaboration looks set to be one of the sweetest ways for Dragon Quest fans to celebrate the series' milestone anniversary this summer.
