Fans of the classic anime Cowboy Bebop will have a special opportunity to experience its world through art this November, with a limited-time exhibition opening in Tokyo's Nihonbashi district.

Titled AFTER BLUES, the immersive art gallery event will run from November 14 to 29, 2026, at BnA_WALL, an art-focused hotel and creative space. The exhibition takes inspiration from the series' distinctive atmosphere, with the theme "Everyone lives carrying their own blues."

Rather than focusing on traditional anime merchandise, the event will showcase 12 original and newly created artworks by six artists, including renowned mural artist DRAGON76. Visitors can explore large-scale pieces inspired by the series, with some artworks also available to purchase.

There is an extra treat for visitors attending during the opening weekend. On November 14 and 15, the exhibition will feature special sound and lighting effects designed to bring the atmosphere of Cowboy Bebop to life. The venue's signature giant wall mural will also feature exclusive works created by artists Tokio Aoyama and BAKIBAKING.

Admission is free, making this an interesting stop for anime fans and art enthusiasts exploring Tokyo. Advance reservations are available for the first two days, with priority entry and a commemorative sticker offered to those who book. Walk-ins may also be accommodated if space allows. From November 16 onwards, reservations won't be required.

If you're a fan of Cowboy Bebop, this is a rather different way to celebrate the beloved series while discovering Tokyo's contemporary art scene.
