嵐山花灯路を歩く

花灯路を頼りに竹林の嵯峨野を歩く

年も押し迫った１２月に１０日間程、嵐山花灯路が嵯峨野の竹林の路で行われる。

今年２０１４年度は１２月１２日～２１日まで行われる予定だ。このイベントは３月に行われる東山花灯路と並んで京都で２カ所毎年開催されている。昼間は静かで涼しげな翠一色の竹林も、夜の闇夜に照らされて浮き上る竹は照明の効果でとても神秘的な雰囲気が出ている。多くの人の気配が感じられなければ、竹取物語の世界に迷い込んでしまったような感さえある。

古都を背景としたイベント、いつも大変な人出になる。暗いのと路が狭いので躓いたり転ばないように注意したい。
