２０１１年１月末、京都では最も寒い冬、俗に言う”底冷え”と云われる程冷え込む南禅寺に訪れた時の画像を紹介したい。
日本の代表的な文化に”わび・さび”がある。私自身、それほど熟知している訳ではないが、”わびしい”とか”寂れた”とか要するに質素で物が不足しているような状態にあって、それを自然のままに受け入れる事を楽しむ事だと理解している。
それがこの南禅寺の庭にあって草木も葉を落とす裸同然の状態から、同様の雰囲気を味わった気になった。
